I work as a physical scientist researching on fundamental science topics. I live in the hippie town here in Front Range of the Rockies, Boulder, Colorado with my husband.
I grew up in Shanghai, China and lived in Hong Kong throughout college and resided in various locations in the US since college. So a lot of my cooking has strong influence from East Asia, especially certain parts of China and Japan. In my spare time, I like finding, preparing and eating good food and the process rescues me from all the life stress. Aside from cooking and eating, I grow a lot of fresh vegetables and herbs in the garden, I do quite a bit of hiking and skiing here in the Rockies, and I travel a lot to explore the unknowns in the world. I am hoping to build up a cookbook for myself and my loved one by recording my journey in this blog.
